The Love of Mother and Daughter

I have known Nicole for almost 8 years, or maybe more than that. After I moved to Hong Kong, I have not seen her for almost 6 years but we have been keeping in touch via social media and email. Yesterday she came to Hong Kong with her daughter Isabelle for the Jacky Cheung concert but she had to go back to KL Malaysia on the next day.

She had to catch her flight at 1pm and she asked me to give her a lifestyle portrait shoot with her daughter in Hong Kong. The schedule was really tight and we had to start our shoot from 8am and end by 10am so that she could reach Hong Kong Airport by 11am.

We shot our pictures in two locations, Mongkok and Tsim Sha Tsui. We wanted to capture the portraits with the iconic pendant signboards in Mongkok. I think it was a good idea to start the portrait shoot at 8am in Mongkok first because there were not much people on the street and all shops were still closing.

After 45mins in Mongkok, we took the subway and moved to Tsim Sha Tsui. It was 9am and there was not much tourists but we could see many office workers rushing to work. We took pictures in 1881 Heritage and Victoria Harbour.

The 2 hours of portrait shoot was smooth and easy. We ended our session at around 10am. We had a wonderful time and it was sad to say goodbye to Nicole and her daughter Isabelle. But I am glad to hear they enjoyed their short Hong Kong trip and I hope the pictures will be their everlasting memories.
